Mit dem Auto erreicht man agriturismo podere il bosco über die Autobahn A1 Firenze/Roma, Ausfahrt Firenze Impruneta. Die Schnellstraße Firenze/Siena verlässt man bei Colle di Val d‘Elsa Sud. Auf der SP 541 geht es Richtung Grosseto/Follonica. Nach ca. 20 km führt eine Abzweigung der SP 73 rechts in Richtung Grossetto/ Chiusdino, nach 8 km gibt es die Ausfahrt Chiusdino. 5 km weiter führt ein Weg links zu unserem Hof podere il bosco. Mit dem Zug fahren bis Siena und nehmen am Hauptbahnhof den Bus 116 und 122 Richtung Chiusdino die Bushaltestelle Podere il bosco liegt 2 km vor dem Ort Chiusdino. Mit Flug von Florenz oder Pisa Flughafen.

Im Dorf Chiusdino gibt es alle Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, ein Touristeninformation Zentrum, eine Tankstelle, Post, Apotheke, Café‘s und Restaurants. Auf Wunsch bewirten wir unsere Gäste einmal pro Woche als Abwechslung zum Dorfrestaurant. In der Umgebung von Natur Reserven Chiusdino selbst liegt im oberen Teil des Val di Merse, die Abbazia San Galgano liegt 5 km weit weg von Podere il bosco und ist die Ruine eine mittelalterliche Kathedrale, nächster Badeplatz im Sommer das Flüsschen Merse ca. 5 km oder die heißen Schwefelquellen Bagni di Petriolo ca. 35 km, der See Accesa 35 km das Meer 40 km im Follonica oder 50 km nach Grosseto mit das wunderbare Strand in Albarese.
